A Little About Line

Line was born on April 20, 1994 in Aarhus, Denmark. She began playing at the age of eight, and her journey into competitive badminton started at the age of 15. Kjærsfeldt has established herself as one of the top European players in women's singles badminton. She won a bronze medal in women's doubles at the 2010 BWF World Junior Championships alongside teammate Sandra-Maria Jensen

Kjærsfeldt’s first win in the women’s doubles category came at the 2011 Croatian International Championship alongside her World Junior Championships partner Sandra. Her first mixed doubles gold medal came with Kim Astrup in the Vantaa European Junior Championships

She claimed her first title that year at Banuinvest International, winning the women's doubles crown alongside teammate Sandra-Maria Jensen in 2012. A few months later, Kjærsfeldt proved her prowess extended beyond doubles by finishing as runner-up in mixed doubles at the Denmark International paired with Kim Astrup. The talented Dane was just getting started - she went on to earn her first singles title in triumphant fashion at the Irish Open. That career-defining victory propelled Kjærsfeldt into the top 100 of the BWF world rankings, serving notice that she was a rising force to be reckoned with across multiple events.

The winning continued for Kjærsfeldt in 2013, as she kicked off the season with a victory at the Estonian International. Her rapid ascent up the junior ranks reached new heights in March when she battled to the final of the prestigious European Junior Championships before settling for silver after a hard-fought loss to Bulgaria's Stefani Stoeva

2014 brought more titles for the rising Danish phenomenon - she reigned supreme at the Finnish Open while also reaching the finals of the Swedish Masters and Irish Open. With these impressive results, Kjærsfeldt cemented her status as a perennial contender at the top European competitions. In 2015, Kjærsfeldt went on to win gold at the inaugural European Games.

We at the Hundred brand look forward to supporting Line’s exciting matches and winning many glories and accolades together.

Personal Favorites

Line has a busy schedule, but she graciously took out some time for a short Q&A session. Here is how it goes:

1) Do you have any hobbies that you actively pursue?

A) Well, I do not get a lot of time to pursue any hobbies actively. However, whenever I do get some time, I like reading books and following sports.

2) Do you like to travel apart from when it’s for competitive matches?

A) Again, haha, time is the issue. However, I do like to travel.

3) Any favorite locations?

A) When it comes to vacationing, I love Spain and Greece in Europe. In Asia, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore are the top two on my list.

4) Okay, we know you have to travel a lot for your matches, and you do love to travel. Is there any dish in all these travels that is close to your heart?

A) I have tried quite a lot of food dishes throughout my travels. However, dumplings from Xin Chi Phung are the closest to my heart.

5) That’s amazing. Let’s take a sneak peek into your childhood. Can you tell us what are some of your fond memories from your formative years?

A) I have many fond childhood memories. The skiing trips we took as a family during childhood are closest to my heart. I would really like to do it again when I retire. We also used to have cats as pets. I loved to care for them, and maybe I will be a proud cat-mama when I am no longer playing badminton.

6) If not badminton, what do you think would have been your alternate profession?

A) If I had not been a badminton player, I probably would have been a professional footballer, as I used to play a lot of football growing up…
